At a time of year when LGBTQ+ organizations need more support than ever, PowerOn is launching a mini grant to connect LGBTQ+ organizations and individuals with technology hardware.

Apply to receive up to five devices (laptop, tablet, cell phone) for use by organization staff or  program participants at a time of year when it’s needed most.

"The Digital Divide is real and you allowed us to help a few community members connect."

"The technology from PowerOn has allowed us to serve more people virtually."

The purpose of the mini grant is to provide mobile technology that can be used in a center’s physical space, by a staff member working from home, on outreach missions, or by center clients at their residences. The grant is also intended to bridge the gap between immediate tech needs and our regular grant cycle in Spring 2022.

The grant application period will run from January 13, 2022 to January 28, 2022. Awards will be announced beginning February 2. Granted technology will be shipped shortly after awards are announced.

Questions about this opportunity will be answered by email only. Please contact Ellie Bessette, Director of Programs, with any questions.

  • Connected the community to food banks, support groups, and health care

Closed for 2022
